In fact they aren't nice at all unless they know you. But they don't get hassled either. I had to tone down friendliness too.   <strong><em>Yes ... I am still working on that one. I suggest easing up on the binge drinking. When one is "Omg I'm soooo wasted", your judgement is off. I heard some crazy stories about drunk tourists. I do understand that violent crime in major European cities is much lower than in the States but that doesn't mean one should let their guard down completely.   <strong><em>Absolutely-on both points!
