Sicily is Italy’s largest, and arguably its most famous, island. It is known throughout the world, unfortunately for the Sicilian Mafia, but it is also home to two major cities-Palermo and Catania-and nine provinces, Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Catania, Enna, Messina, Palermo, Ragusa, Siracusa and Trapani. My minor is Italian and I had the opportunity to study there last summer and it was just magical. I am going back this coming summer for an internship with a travel company and I can’t wait!
