It includes all of the services in our Basic Tour and Premium Package, but provides for an additional research day – and night! – for your personal family researcher to locate your Italian cousins.

Before your trip …
* a professional genealogist will research your family’s lineage and confirm their home village, important dates and name spellings
* a bilingual researcher / guide will spend two full days (and in some cases, one night) in your ancestral village, searching for your living relatives

Once you are here …
* you will have the opportunity to meet with your new-found family members and hear stories about your family’s life in southern Italy

Your tour is 100% customized but typically includes
** Four full days with the bilingual guide who personally researched your family’s lineage (time divided per your request, between your ancestral village and personally selected day tours in the area (can include cooking and wine tours, medieval villages, castles, monasteries, etc)
** Five nights in a family-owned B&B (accommodations chosen to fit your travel style) in or near your family’s village
** A full Calabrese lunch on each day of your ancestry tour, varying from seafood, to meat to homemade pasta dishes so you can fully enjoy the diversity of the Calabrian kitchen
